Hesitation during Inertial Changes
Hey guys,
I was on a weekend cruise with a car club and I felt occasionally some hesitation and some serious slop during inertial changes with the drivetrain.
For example I would accelerate and then lift off rather quickly or right after shifts feel a little hesitation or slop.
Engine mounts? Transmount?

I have something similar and have been all over it with inspection and durametric logs. I am thinking it may be my dual mass flywheel. Possibly the springs are gone and it has a slip and clunk, both accelerating and decelerating. My car will do it both accelerating and decelerating but wont do it twice in one direction. Anybody have any input from a bad DMFW that was replaced and the difference it made?
