help on electrical issue

just replaced the alternator on my 03 996 tt and she started right up and registered 14 v but after 3-5 minutes of idling smoothly the car just shut off, dead dead like she sat for years! tried to hook up the jump box and she's really dead no lights nor bell chime. checked the fuses by the footwell and battery connections no issues there. Did this happen to anyone here? thanks

thanks sir, with a fresh charged jump box on still dead as a nail so most likely a relay. have a buddy coming and will check it out for me early part of this week. I'll post the final diag/result.
