Update:
the plugs were fouled beyond anything i have ever seen.
New plugs & 997 coil packs were installed.
The shop also had a new Cobb tune file downloaded.
Seems to be fine now. Will keep logging the miles.

Ditto, glad to hear it's nothing serious.
my custom Cobb tune uncovered a bad coil (or plug) for cylinder 4, but it only missfired in 4th or 5th gear at higher RPM. Changed out the plugs and coils and haven't had a problem since...

Good to hear nothing major... Curious though, if the plugs were so fouled with only 5k miles,, didn't you notice any signs e.g. sluggish, misses, gas smell!, black soot on bumper/exhaust etc? Shouldn't the Cobb gauges or data logs capture something?
