997 power seats, lumbar the final count down
So everyone has always complained about the lack of instructions on pelican for powering the lumbar on 997 power seats with memory. I have all the wiring done per pelican and have voltage to one of the lumbar switches but need help reading the board further. Let figure this out and update the DIY.
Shawn
The only switch I can get to give me power is the left hand side. If I jump the power to the other side I have a constant over there to the two prongs the pliers are pointing at. No other switch position is giving me power which is why I'm at a loss. The thick red and black wires are positive and negative and the stereo wire is being used for testing.

not to sound patronizing, but to start from the top. In what state are you checking for power at the pins, do you have ignition full on, or just 1st position..?
Also, the wire size you chose seems to be way overkill

Yea the power and ground were way too big, I realized that when I tried incorporating the rest of the seat controls.
When tested the board has power from a 12v source, it is out of the car and each pin is tested with a multimeter to identify power. I need to take more time and effort to update this with some pictures from the pelican part DIY so that someone with more electronics background than me can possibly help.
For the seat controls each cushion has a positive and ground for power and in addition two other positive switched poles. The issue with the lumbar is that the numbers don't add up as far as available pins controls go when compared to other controls.

While performing this same conversion, one of the switches bit the dust. It's the one with the tight group of three. (they are all the same). Does anyone know a part number or where I can get one? Thanks for any info you can send my way. Don
