Cold weather --overboost?

My car is all stock and during the summer warm months I could reach about 7 to 8 bar.

Now that the cooler air has settled in my car hit 1.5 bar?

Can this be a symptom of a boost leak or bad MAF?

Thanks.

Something isn't right... I'm in Canada and I don't get that kind of boost in the winter.

... although, it's tough to find a sticky enough surface to support that kind of acceleration in the winter too - the tires will cut loose before you can get there.

On a stock car, that is way too high. Besides pressure testing the system, check the waste gates.

Last time I work on a car with overboost, one of the sense line coming from the intake and going to the N75 valve was disconnected.....

Lower the engine and check all lines around N75 and to fuel pressure regulator. Boost leak test!

Sounds like it may be some-kind of leak...

Funny thing its only in the cold temps it acts up.

TIA
