When in idle , my car sounds a bit like its chugging along. Speed Gallery in CA told me that changing the spark plugs and possibly the diverter valve would solve this.
But after driving an upgraded 996TT of theirs, I feel like my stock turbo is too slow. They will charge me about $800 to change the spark plugs and diverter valve. But I am thinking maybe I should just do an upgrade to the car which would include a spark plug changes anyways.
What would be the best upgrade as far as money is concerned? How much $$ would this cost? And is it worth it? Will it effect my warranty?

Well let's begin by saying that 500HP and 600 HP are totally different from a bang for your buck perspective. Unless you already have an X50/Turbo S you can forget over 500HP without some cash. Althoigh the curve definitely gets steeper when you start wanting more than 600 HP.
You're in good hands with Speed Gallery. Why not talk to them?

speed gallery is asking $7800 for a full 550hp upgrade with remus exhaust. But I just can't justify spending that much dough for it. So I wanted something much cheaper. And does this effect the warranty on the car?
