GT3 Caliper Upgrade Rotor Problem

I upgraded my Turbo to GT3 calipers some time ago.

I have read that the Cayenne rotors can be used in place of the more expensive GT3 rotors.

I bought the "correct" Cayenne rotors and my shop says they do not fit. Anything I missed?

I ordered 955 351 401 51 (LT) & 955 351 402 51 (RT) 350X34mm

TIA

The Cayenne rotors only fit when you are using 996GT3 uprights. The offset is different. You need to use 997TT front rotors.

How did I know that you would have the answer. :)

I was thinking the same thing. But you have the definitive answer.

Thanks Powder!!!

No sweat. You really don't wanna use the Cayenne rotors anyway as they are extremely heavy, close to 30lbs each if I recall. OEM 997TT rotors are relatively cheap and a bit lighter. If you want something lighter, think I may have some new in box 997TT girodisc rotors in the garage but I'd have to double check. Obviously the multi piece rotors are lighter but more $$.

Sebro has the slotted discs available for the 997TT, which is what I am going to buy.

Thank you again.

Just to Confirm 996 GT3 Calipers bolt on along with the 997 TT rotors with no hardware changes right? What about the rears? and Do the brake lines fit the same?
