I recently installed 996 GT2 Euro Bucket seats, but have not been able to deactivate the airbag light. I know there is a method using resistors, does anyone have experience to walk me through that?

We tried the Porsche computer, but that did not work. Possibly due to the fact that I am on a Syvecs ECU(?)

 

you don't have to disable any lights...
must've turned the key on when seats were out

 

I had this same issue. If you took out the old seats before pulling the battery cable and draining the circuit then the light will trigger.

Can only be reset by a PIWIS, not a durametric.

 

You can easily clear it with durametric. I do it all the time. No need for piwis or pst2
