The vacuum line on my (aftermarket) DV also contacts the insulation on the top of the engine compartment. I noticed it when I was doing motor mounts and was mildly concerned, but haven't done anything about it. Doesn't cause any issues in my case. Maybe in the future the 90 degree hard line adapter would be a good idea.
