the only combo that make daily sense for street, and or occasional tracking, for a primarily street driven, if not dual duty car. is 235/40 X 315/30/18. roll rear fenders and lower to taste. i bet the thread figured this out back in '06 too

True, but it’s nearly impossible in europe to get a semi in315/30. same for the 255/35.
Check michelin, pirelli...nada.
For street michelin PS2 235/40+315/30
For racetrack cup2/trofeo R 225/40+295/30.

works for me.

And I wouldnt believe any given tire diameter on the web. Ask the tire company directly.
You will be surprised sometimes. simply use 255/35

I was actually ready for 235/40 + 295/30 combo to cause me PSM issues, but that simply didn't happen. Since I generally drive my car over the same backroads here in the Bay area, I am confident in stating that I experience no more PSM intervention with my current combo vs. 225/295s. There's one off camber slippery curve on hwy 35 aka the Skyline that has caused the PSM to buzz, and it happens whether I'm driving fast or slow. The car simply doesn't like that spot, but it didn't like it with 225/40s either.

For the AD08Rs, the delta between front and rear tire height (revs per mile) is about the same as stock. I used the Yokohama website to compare diameters and to your point I have seen a few some examples where TireRack has input tire height incorrectly.
