Help with Clutch kit replacement parts

Looking at almost new clutch kits for the future. Will this clutch kit work as a stock replacement without using a lightweight flywheel?

Does this clutch grab much better than the stock? How much stiffer would the peddle feel?

yes. it is good for hybrid turbos. i forget the exact cut offs, but most people are using this setup without problems. If you have the stock assisted clutch, I can't believe it will be that different. When I did this clutch, I moved to the gt2 setup, so I can't tell you. If you are spending more time on the track, you could go with the lwfw direction, but its a completely different setup. Here is UMW's website showing some good options.
http://www.ultimatemotorwerks.com/clutch.html above is the sachs 2.5 kit.

I just installed both of those along with a new throw out bearing. I can't give you a straight comparison to the stock set up because I also installed the GT2 slave conversion at the same time. The clutch pedal is noticeably stiffer for sure. I about kick through the firewall in my Audi now after getting out of the Porsche.
But the overall feel is very nice, just like a sports car clutch should feel.
I'm not sure what "grab much better" means, so perhaps you can rephrase? Or just buy the parts and install to see for yourself? It won't be terrible.

Grabs tons better than stock! I have the SRE 764 pressure plate and organic clutch disc upgrade. I am using it with the OEM assisted setup with the accumulator.

No noticable pedal difference. It is still super light like a civic. I love it. The uprated clutch grabs like hell too. I have a UMW 1 bar tune.

Because it has a light pedal and grabs hard, it takes a recalibration of your left leg but it's totally natural. I dont even think about it anymore.

With the clutch and the tune, if I time it right, I can chirp the tires on the 1-2 shift with my AWD intact.

s65e90 is infamous around these parts
With OEM gt2 slave, the pedal is very heavy. Nice, but very heavy.

Will this clutch disc work also? Is it different from the 098 clutch disc?

Stebo, please post your parts list for your oem setup. Did you purchase a new Dual Mass flywheel. I plan on keeping the accumulator. But want to remove the pentosin and move the front res (green cap) to DOT 4. thanks in advance...

The entire parts list for the job is very long, but the major components are these.

Pp: 88 3082 999 764

Clutch disc: 88 1864 001 098

I did use a new dual mass flywheel. I tried not to, but when I opened her up, the flywheel didn't look great so I bought a new one.

All the other parts are the same as before. Just like you'd find at Pelican parts or wherever you shop.

I have all the part numbers if you need specific ones. I just dont feel like typing them all out. The info is already available all over this forum and others.

We have these SACHS kits in stock, brand new and will beat anyone's price on them. They use the 764 pressure plate and the 098 disc.

here is the breakdown on this system:
- the disc feels 100% stock
- the pressure plate has significantly more clamping force and that's actually where most of the power holding capacity comes from, it feels 95% stock in a car that still has the accumulator.

a lot of people do the GT2 slave conversion at the same time when they do the clutch and that's what drastically changes the pedal feel from super soft to the unassisted stiff pedal. factory cars use pressure from the power steering pump and an accumulator to make the pedal feel soft and when you do a GT2 conversion you get rid of that assist
