I'm New...A few questions????
I am new to the forum so I hope I am not asking stupid questions. If I am please forgive...
Anyway, I just bought a 02 TT with factory aero kit. I would like to pump up the HP a bit. I live in Los Angeles and was hoping you guys would know a good tuner who could help me. I would like to get about 500HP. Additionally I am looking for a nice set of wheels...19's. I love the HRE's. If anyone knows a seller(used) or a good place tp buy(new) let me know. BTW what tires would you recommend to go with the 19's. I will post some pics when the car is done. Its my 2nd TT. Thanks JB |

JB, First rule...post pics.
Not sure you want to go with 19s if you are trying to boost HP. With the 19s...lots of bling, but you may lose some performance. There are lots of good tuners, get some DV's, intake, exhaust and chip it and you'll be set. I used Imagine Auto for chip work. Good luck and congratulations on a fine car. |

I just took my HRE 540Rs off my 03 TT. They have Michelin PS2s with good tread, about 7k miles on the tires. I'd take $4K for them, they're only 10 months old. I've decided they're too much bling for me.
