Top 5 Fastest 996TT's in the country.
 

Cars & times have improved a lot in the last year, therefore a new thread like this is about due. Anybody care to note their opinions on the "Top 5"?

Well, it appears VRAlexander's car in a straightline is the fastest!

Alex, Sharky and Craig are the internet's top dogs.

Who else? .....

I would say Alex, Craig, CJV and Sharky have the fastest cars out there.

But as far as publicly posted timeslips go...I believe the order so far is:

1. EVOMS GT800 - 10.37
2. Sharky - 10.62
3. Divexxtreme's Protomotive TT (stock internals) -10.65
4. Hamann's (Tyson's) old Protomotive TT (stock internals) - 10.74

Craig, CJV, VR4Alexander, Sharky, Tyson's old car

Agree with CJV though, there are probably some cars we don't even know about. They could be anywhere in the world, and the owners could be very secretive.

Turbo's should be runing 9/10s of a mile like bikes, it is a lot more fun. A mustang can run a quarter mile pretty fast , but then it dies (get the picture). i have been running bikes lately with pretty good results. anyone can drive to 130mph, but not manny can run to 180+ (totally different game).

Crap. I forgot about your run. You would definitely be in my top 5. Does anyone know what happened to Tyson's old car? Does anyone know the owner?

Have you guys that've been running at the strip monitored how much wheel spin you're getting inside your tires at launch? In addition to not getting traction, I've seen that happen and wonder if it was solved how much could be picked up.

Also, there was some talk awhile back about a 996tt going on Pinks? Is that really going to happen? That'd be pretty interesting if it was true. :cool:
