Park your car in the sun as much as possible. It should help dry up the tint and make it adhere better. if after 30 days it doesnt improve, go back to the shop.

i've had my last 3 p cars get tinted by two different installers who were considered the best/priciest in atlanta. all 3 had the same "issue" that you are having.

from someone who used to obsess about the cars being "perfect", just deal with it

I had the exact same issue with the Turbo and some BMW's I had. I was also advised to park in sunny spots, and it did seem to help, but still have the small bubbles. Not really a huge deal to me since you cannot see them too much. The company that did my tint used Llumar tint on my Turbo which was so much better quality then the 3M I had on my M3.

Just had mine done...same thing, although a good tinter will make it a bit less. Keeping it in the sun is a good idea, it should reduce it alot.....

It will not go on flush around the edges. My tinter told me about that in advance and I had to sign an acknowledgement before work was started. I am still happy with the tint job. The shop used a computer to cut the tint, so the shape is perfect.

Ditto on the sun...

I had the same problem on my X5, now 4 years later the air bubbles have spread in the corners and looks like crap. Next time getting factory tint.

There's only one guy in Atlanta I will get my tinting done each time I need it (whenever I have to remove it thanks to GA's tinting laws and the jealous cops ). He sprays a silicone black finish in the pixel area that blends that part of the glass as if it were a giant pixel. The rest of the window is tinted. It looks flawless and produces no bubbling effects. Check with your tint guys if they do this kind of work. This is the only way I know of to make a tinted window with the pixels look right.

I know that when I had my last car tinted, the shop actually sanded down some of the bubbles so it wasn't raised. Not sure if that's OK to do, but it made the bubbles not so evident. I would definitely check to make sure that the bubbles are not functional such as stereo antenna or rear defoggers. But if they have no real function, you should be OK sanding them down, then applying the film. I think using a 3000 grit paper might work. I will call my tint guy and ask for sure. This is MHO.

Had this issue on other cars and parking it in the sun, let it dry some more and then I use a terry towel (bath) around my index finger and carfully pressed from the inner edge of this to the outer edge to squeege out some of the aier and water. It reduced it noticably but nothing will make it go totally away. Be carefull not to wipe across seams and cause it to lift. It is a bit OCD but hey, I take pride in my rides. Good luck.
