Along the Indian River on the east coast of central Florida there were a few of these oaks. The thought is that the native indians that made the river home tied the trees down and used them as marks along the shore. There are only a few of them still left. I saw the "Porsche" in this one the first time I drove it over to show my bud. Those people had a good eye for their time.
