Everyone is killing 996TT's and GT2's !!!!
 

My God !!!! I was browsing several car forums, like " My350", S2ki, BMW, RX7,RX8 and everyone is telling about how easy is to kill a TT's and GT2's !!! I mean, they come with this big stories about street racing, blah, blah, blah. Why people like to make up all this fantasies or ghost races ???/
I mean, one or two might be true, but geez everyone have a faster car than ours !!!!!

yeah...but they don't realize the porsche drivers are usually not racing or don't bother wasting their time......

its easy to beat a car that isn't racing..lol..

Well said; when I stop at a traffic light, just about every car or truck next to me has to floor it off the line. I just take my time, smile and wave.....

Yeah, Its crazy. I read a lot of threads of guys wanting to race Craig and Alex all over the internet !!!! Then a lot more with their own victory stories !!!! Its Amazing how they like to put down our cars and our Guys !!!!

Stock sporty cars under $200K are all now pretty close in acceleration. Even the BMW M6 is nearly as fast as a stock GT2.

If you want something really fast you've got to go with reputable tuners (e.g, Ruf) or go to Super Car territory (Enzo, CGT, Pagani, ...).

In typical street race, all of these stock cars are about the same:

996TT, GT2, 993TT, GT3
CS, 430
Gallardo, Murcielago
SL65
Viper
Z06

And these stock cars are very noticeably faster:

Enzo
Ruf Turbos
Pagani
Ford GT
Saleen

That story with the Saturn is too funny. The P driver stalled his car at the lights and they call that a killhilarious

The other day a Evo 8 pulled next to me with a bunch of gauges on his a pillar. We were at the lights and he was revving his motor and you could hear the BOV. When the light went green, he floored it. I on the other hand went through first real nice and easy and then hammered it in 2nd and flew by him. The look on his face was pricelesshilarious
