I would also like to know the correct offset for 12" wheels on the 996TT.

Tom, do 315's fit the 11" wheels correctly?

no problems at all.
I tried a 335 but had inner rubbing...
I am looking for 335 on 19th. My 315 ps2 seemed stretched on the 12 inch rims but that might prevent the rubbing. I just don't like how it looks. What tires are the 335....I couldn't find any.

Thanks

Tom, think it's a combination of issues, tires are very square edge, you run neg camber and you have a lowered track car, these 3 are all major points in achieving best performance out of your car on track, you might be able to run 335's but you will have to lose 1 of the above (possibly 2) NOT WORTH IT!

What are you running on fronts Tom?

why not trim the shield before hand and then tie up the boost hose so that it doesn't rub?

exactly!! but I think alot depends on the amount of negative camber that guys just are not running.

but this could have been due to the offset you had for the wheels correct?

Hey Tom. I just replaced my RA1s (245/335) with a set of the R888s in the same sizes. Was only able to put about 15 mins on the car since the switch. Do you find the R888s to make more road noise than the RA1s or was it just my ears playing tricks on me. ALSO, how would you compare the R888s performance to the RA1s?

Thanks! Mike

I ended up with 47mm offset on 12" rears with PS2 315/25/19's, plenty of clearance in and out, car dropped 1.25". The fenders are rolled conservatively, no more than 1/8" gain. But I think that there wouldn't be any rubbing without it to be honest.

My rear offset is original - 65mm - less the 18mm H&R spacer I settled on, giving 47mm. I tried a 14mm spacer first but it was a little too tight on the inside fender liner and the wheels looked a little tucked in. Going out to 18mm gave a better fit and look.

Sorry the picture aren't great, just trying to show the final fit. Car is dirty, I know!

You can see on Image4 where the inner fender liner rubber when on the 14mm spacer and lowering the car when it was on the jack, it rubbed then and then also a tad over bumps. That has gone now.

I am guessing a good offset for the 12" rear would be from 47mm to about 40mm avoiding rubbing in and out. Remember if you get a big offset you can always add spacers, if you get too small an offset (aggresive to the fender) then you are out of options once you roll the fenders, I was there with the Work wheels I had before (28mm offset).
