6speedonline's official 60-130, 1/4 Mile, and Standing Mile list
I think I know where you're going with this.... the NEW hsf1 pump that started shipping ~1 month ago is rated for 100% meth!!
We had a break in the rain so I took the Z06 out and got some 60-130 runs in.
I ran a 5.86 on a slight incline in 87% humidity with 93 octane. That's exactly 2 seconds faster than my best stock time of 7.86...which was done on a perfect dry, cool day.
I noticed that with this setup and the stock gears, the car is definitely not optimized for 60-130 runs. The best run was made with 1-shift from 3rd to 4th, but the stock gearing is so tall that I'm still very low in the powerband in 3rd by the time I hit 60 mph. So....I'm going to get a 3.90 diff for the car. Based off what Jamie (ohiogt2) has told me it will significantly improve the car's acceleration (he has the 3.90 diff in his car).
Below is a graph of the 5.86 run, and well as an overlay comparison to my best stock run of 7.86 with 2-shifts.

That is why his 5.2 pass has 2 shifts. With a 28" tire you SHOULD be able to do a 60-130 using just 2nd and 3rd. That's what we figure should work on his Vette.Regardless that's def. a HUGE improvement over stock. Glad to see you are back in the states and that you stayed safe! Have fun with it bro!
Now you see the downfall Matt (Lil Powell) has with the Vette on a 26" tire

That said; my 345/35/18 Mickeys are actually 27.5" tall. The M&Hs in the same size are 28" tall. But...I think 3rd to 4th will be the best gears to use after I go to a 3.90 rear. I'm ordering it first thing tomorrow.
The car has a lot left in it, and I don't believe the current 60-130 times are an accurate indication of it's abilities.
Also, I have to go back and look at all of my graphs, but I think my best stock time with humidity close to as high as it is tonight was around 8.4...so it's a definite improvement.
Thanks again.

Ryan
Because of the Z06's really tall gearing the 1/4 mile typically shows alot more of its performance envelope. I bet your car traps mid to high 130's as it sits right now.
Are you shifting at the factory redline or did you raise the rev limiter?

Z06 gears do not seem to be optimal for 60-130 times. Compare the 1/4 mile and 60-130 time of TTboost to my 60-130 of 6.9 with a 1/4 mile time of 10.72 @ 134.56.
I would have to agree that 2 shifts seem to be the fastest even with all the torque the engine produces down low.
Have you looked into the difference between a 3:90 & a 4:10 diff?
Still very good times and good to have you back in the states.
Scott very nice times glad your getting traction, these cars dont like the road like the P cars. 60-130 is a good measurement but doesnt always show every cars true potential. Like Atomic was saying his car traps better then some porsche running faster 60-130 time, and I know my car will trap easy 15X mph but I cant get a 60-130 time because the car isnt set up for it. Trap speed is the true number to judging hp.
Thanks for showing me your tail-lights in Houston. Did you look into getting 4:10's instead of 3:90's? If so, what was the difference maker?

I think trapping 150 puts you in the big boy club regardless of what your car runs 60-130!
