Guys,
art4iza did a low boost, pump gas run in 85 degree temps on 19" street tires. He ran a 5.83 with 2-shifts.
I expect some very fast times from this car with more boost. Congrats, Art!

I'm slowly getting used this power. The car on low boost is much faster than my old set up on high boost Thanks bro.

997John ran a 6.75 60-130 in his Proto TIP car with modded VTGs, Proto intake, exhaust, ICs and tune.
The car also went 2.97 0-60, and ran a 10.5 @ 134 1/4 mile...but since it was a p-box measurement only, the 1/4 mile run won't be counted as an official run.

How do u compare the shifting on that car with other 997 tip cars?? is it much quicker??
Also is it true that p-box read slower than actual 1/4 track?? I remember u make a compare while ago...right?

As far as p-box vs dragstrip times, it depends on whether the 1-oot rollout is used or not. Not sure if this was used or not here. But, the trap speeds are normally dead-on (pretty much).
The 0-60 of this car makes a 10.5 very believable, but until he goes to the strip, we won't know for sure.
Scott you are correct when i did the Vbox test with the 1 foot roll out, It read 11.01 (compared to my 10.8) pass and that was on our Concrete Highway here where we all drag and there was lots of VHT down, AS long as he had that checked off that this is another Protomotive Missile!
