For street or highway runs, most start at 30-35 or so and stomp on it...

Due to my turbos size and lack of displacement I literly start my brake boosting at 53-55mph and really hold the brakes down until about 58 according to the vbox then hold on for the ride. I manage to build 10-14 psi on the brake but on my 4.89 pass I made about 10psi and had very little wheel spin. My only reasoning behind the high starts like I said is because of a big pair of turbos and little displacement.

Here's Topgun's 60-130 plot from his TX Mile run. A very fast 4.85.

Congratulations, Tom!

Chris, still awd with the shaft in. No changes to the inside or outside other than straight pipes. Other than some Joe tape on the sunroof we didnt even tape the cars
I have the new Tilton and love it, so I thought I would give it a good hard launch. The tilton didnt slip, the r888s stuck, something had to go...

As for the man child Ben. I am sure he didnt tell you i was at EVOMS at 7pm thursday evening and was in my car 1100 miles away breaking my trans the next day at 3pm. My buddy checked in the hotel for me since I was late and I didnt know the room. I was a zombie..... I was also a bit drunk

Congratulations Kevin on the 60-130 time. That's a hell of time. Very sorry to hear about the tranny. You seem to be handling it like a champ. First Joe, then you...I hope Tom's not next :/

Thanks.

I'm so glad winter is over. I picked up the car in Ohio in November, brought it home, took a couple of quick spins and then it sat in the garage until I loaded it on a trailer and headed off to TX2K10.

Art - Thanks. It is kinda of catchy. I need to go run a dedicated 60-130 and see if I can squeeze a little more out of her.

No complaints here - I still have a smile on my face. Always fun at TX2K and the mile.
