Dyno tuning is the only way for many car owners. It has undeniable benefits.

He didn't have a 2.6 second launch. He had a 2.0 launch. A good launch on his car would probably be 1.6-1.7. On an Audi (AWD) 3-4 tenths in the 60 foot is not doubled up to gain you 6-8 tenths of ET like the RWD guys often quote. It's more like 1:1 or 1.5:1.
Then obviously it's either a timeslip error or he powered-on late.

I need to see the data to believe that suggested ratio. Unless the gearing or shifting is radically different than any other car, that isn't true. And S4 results on dragtimes.com agrees.

Until I start to see some of their cars running good 1/4 mile times I'll remain skeptical. ESPECIALLY when it involves a TIAL car.
What 1/4 mile times are you looking for, exactly?

Member 'TheCPE' submitted his runs from his bone stock 2012 Mustang GT. His 60-130 was 14.05 with 2-shifts. Looking forward to seeing his improvements with bolt-ons.

Member NineElevenLover went 11.98 @ 120.2 in his stock-motored 2003 996TT X50 package car with Bilstein suspension. This is the highest trap speed ever recorded for a completely stock motored (no bolt-ons or tune) 996TT.

With my E46 M3 TT,

new 60-130 mph 4.93 seconds 0,07 % uphill.

Weather was 31-33 degrees celcius (90F). Very hot.

The CPE added a mid-pipe and tune to his 2012 Mustang GT and shaved almost a second off his 60-130 time. He ran a 13.10, compared to his 14.05 bone stock.

Nice job, Heath!

Hopefully Tym will get some numbers at the strip in the next week or two. Once I get the car back, I'll get some numbers myself. I'm looking forward to a MIR track rental later this year when it cools down.
