6speedonline's official 60-130, 1/4 Mile, and Standing Mile list
I have know Ben Phillips for a year or so and I can attest that he builds some killer Supras! He is a great guy, a passionate car builder and a good friend! He just recently built a 1300 hp Black Supra which I think should rock! This is the first time I ever seen a supra with twin waste gates soo it was kind-of-sorta like a star wars car :-) Peter, I think you would have enjoyed seeing this car. Jamie, what are you doing next? Nick, have you raced Sean yet?

Rob, I will refrain from posting what I think about Ben and anything that involves him... Trust me when I tell you, you don't want to get me going on him...
Take care!

I have a couple of times to add to the list.
1st, my best time ever in my GT3 12.3 @ 114
2nd, my best run of the day in a Mclaren SLR 11.5 @127
Keep in mind these runs were in AZ at 3500+ DA. It was 92 degrees at Speedworld Yesterday. Track/surface temp was 110 degrees. Both cars on Street PS2's. Tons of wheel spin on the SLR. Can somebody update the list with these? Thanks.
Note that my reaction times in the GT3 were pretty quick and consistent all day.

Marko and Sound Performance's builds are not indicative of what many of us experience. I wouldn't say Supras are cheap to mod either, especially to do right. I've never had an issue with my 1200hp supra and I ran it harder than any street car on Supraforums over the past couple years. But this was partly because the shop that built my Supra is proven to be the best in the business, but to be fair, overall quality of parts has also gone up since Marko was in the game.
I have a 780 hp evo 8 with only a GT35r turbo. I put on 20K miles on it and never blew the motor. everyone else around me has done it at least once.
Yes I had a decent builder as well but more importantly I didnt beat on the car. I I ran C16 wihht 35 psi regulary I would blow it up 2 years ago.
Look aT Houston Ts car.. seems liek he has a very fast car... but he just mentioned that he never went to the track- Im sure he would start breaking parts as soon as he would start racing and trying to beat a time. Just liek I in my P car. Having a 1200 rwhp P car and or Supra and running it on the highway can last a while but not when it becomes competative( between oneself and or others). You will push the car harder and harder.
I never saw a high HP car that is reliable- heck look at the F1 cars and the mechanic failures they endur.
My opinion stretches amongs all car brands including P cars.

Jamie, looks like you got your best time and trap on the 11.02 @ 126.7 pass. Great run for just a flash, exhaust and drag radials!

I do not drag race b/c I have no desire to. But I think to a point you are right, drag racing is SOOOOO hard on the driveline that the second you start doing it in a high HP car, **** starts breaking. The point Jamie is trying to make and the point I agree with, is that we both routinely run our cars HARD (850+rwhp in my case and 1,100+ rwhp in Jamie's case) and they continue to hum without incident (knock knock <--- me knocking on wood).

In my opinion, and I have 2 turbo cars, any car that is driven fairly within limits... ( lets say medium boost) will last a long time. Here is my example.
I have a 780 hp evo 8 with only a GT35r turbo. I put on 20K miles on it and never blew the motor. everyone else around me has done it at least once.
