6speedonline's official 60-130, 1/4 Mile, and Standing Mile list
Guys,
Member vrybad beat his previous best time of 7.56 with a 7.43 on a 2.2% incline! His car is a TT C5 Z06 making 573 rwhp @ 9.5 psi. With better traction, I definitely see this car in the 6's.
Congrats, Brian!

Thanks, Scott!
I'm trying to get the most out of it, but as you noticed, I get some wheel spin.
Kinda cool, but it may hurt my times a bit.
I, too, think it might go high 6's.
At least that's what I'm hoping for!
Try, try again!
Take care,
Brian
MBailey ran a solid 8.52 with 1-shift with his IA/EVO GT610 + V-Flow car on a flat 0.3% decline. His last run at the Stage 2 level was a 9.68, so this is a significant improvement. He'll do better with cooler weather.
Nice job, Mike!
Nice job, Mike!
As I suspected he would, vrybad just went out and beat his recent 7.43 with a very fast 6.89 with 1-shift on a 1.0% decline in his TT C5 Z06. Looks like he finally got some traction.

Great job!
Thanks, guys!!
Thanks for posting the run, Scott!
As soon as I had completed the run, I knew by how it felt that it was pretty quick.
I know how quick the 700 kits are on the 996/997 platforms, and my goal has been to get my car in that range.
Looks like I finally figured out how to do it.
For tires, I used a set of Kumho V710 DOT road race tires, which allowed me to use all of 3rd gear, but I made up almost all of the improvement in my shift speed.
I'll probably switch to a drag radial for normal street use, or something like a Nitto NT-01.
