Did you do anything to the transmission? I dont get wheel spin at those speeds. I think the power is normally restricted in 1st and 2nd gear even with the upgrades, unless you got rid of that. Were you running with the traction control on or off?

Thats probably the reason for the wheel spin (TQ restrictions removed in lower gears). Who did your upgrades? Maybe try the drag radials like you planned, or maybe give it a shot starting in 3rd gear.

Btw, my SLR only lost about 2-3 tenths starting in 3rd gear vs 2nd. This is due to the power being limited in 1st and 2nd gear.

it makes things easier, if you have a lot of dbn files and search for 60-130 runs.
I extended the last version to calculate quarter mile times also:

http://me-fx.de/dbscanner_b.zip

give it a try

Sorry..but I'm currently deployed to Djibouti, Africa on a desolate military base that has very inconsistent and unreliable internet access.

I answer when I can.

Member waymegelli ran a 9.60 in his Vivid/Softronic flashed 996TT TIP. The car is otherwise stock. Nice job!

This was my one and only try at a 60-130, and it was actually unintentional. I was using my RacelogicBox at Eagle's Canyon Raceway for a PCA DE event. The have a 2000' backstraight where I'd been hitting 124, 125 before the flash, so I decided I'd push it as hard as I could coming out of the previous corner and go as long as I dared before getting on the brakes. It turns out I waited just a little too long because I wasn't able to get it slowed enough to make the 90 degree corner and went off at about 40 mph. Fortunately, there was no damage, but when I saw I'd hit 130, I knew I could submit it. Maybe I'll find a better location and try it again.
