Killer time, the k24/18gs times keep dropping, will we see 5s by next weekend? I have a feeling our boost controller is going to get turned a few extra clicks now, great run!

Thank you...Any ideas what to do in order to reach 5,xx?
|
I already have injectors and at 1,37bar i do not run out of fuel...so i do not think second fuel pump is needed...or is it?
|
Nope, you just need a secondary power adder.....hilarious
A 100 hp shot of nitrous should put you in the 5's....and thats if...and only if the engine stays together until 130 :eek: |

I'm thinking more like 1.5-1.6 bar. Baby steps though, were at 1.32 now, gotta log a few passes on the dyno then head back to the track. I may Give nitrous a shot in the near future as well, I want to we what the old girl can take. |
Would the IAT cooling effect of nitrous somewhat offset the increase in cylinder pressure? Even a small shot would give you a very sudden torque spike, hmmm maybe activate the nitrous right above 3500 rpm and let the turbos take the baton above 5500 rpm?

It does have an "intercooling " effect, but also, by design, raises cylinder pressure. People with BIG turbos sometimes use a small shot of NOS to spool the turbos only... |
Nitrous of course is an option but i do not think about it...i believe when activated it will bend my rods...However,water spray on intercoolers(or perhaps nitrogen spray on intercoolers)might really cool down IAT...and i mean ON intercoolers...not IN intercoolers...just for cooldown...The car is not custom tuned yet...Hopefully next week i will finish fine tuning...

Nitrous sprayhilarious on intercoolers....now thats an idea....
|
It should be better than water spray on intercoolers...it has more cooling effect...Have you tried it?

Please can someone help me.
I bought a Driftbox this winter. Today I took it out to see how it works. I tried once to get a 60-130mph time but I have no idea how to read the file the easy way. I`m sure there must be some smart settings of the graphs.
Please can someone explain the best way? https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...4111-szpet.jpg |
I assume you've loaded the software onto your computer. If not, there's your problem. Once it's loaded, open the Performance Tools program, then open the file created by the PBox, then choose accel results and then 60-130 MPH. The program does all the work.
