Thanks! Had a few warm days here and took advantage of it. Anything under 50deg or so, no traction...I wanted to be part of the 6sec club... for now:D

Down here we have concrete freeways, that in my opinion, provide excellent traction, even at low temps, 40F. Isn't there anything similar in CT? Maybe some new Nitto's will help.

Well, drag radials and warmer weather definitely help. We also get frost heaves in the winter that don't always "heal". That leaves dips and stuff, so even the flattest road isn't that flat. You don't get airborne. but pretty close! Our paved asphalt isn't always great either. Once it's warmer though, it shouldn't be an issue.

Well after reading about all these fast times the 18g guys are running, I wanted to see if I could keep up. I think I succeeded, but we'll see what Scott says.

I wanted to give all the Proto guys some hope!!

I still haven't 60-130'd the camo car, but after trapping a 133 I'm willing to bet she does quite well. Have to get her some fresh plugs once she returns and give it a go.

Haha, well if you must know, here it is (sorry Scott)...

6.60 at 1.30 bar of boost on a 1.75% decline. The temp here today was 58 degrees.

Not a record breaking run, but lets me know the car has more in it. I think with a little cooler weather and a bit more boost, the car will knock off a tenth or 2.

ttboost Mar 25, 2009 05:45 PM

Sweet!!! Awesome run!!!

TXGold Mar 25, 2009 07:40 PM

Great run Adam :)

Adam Bowles Mar 25, 2009 08:02 PM
