5.93 and almost perfectly flat as well. WOW...Congrats Jaime on a hell of a first run. I am sure you will squeeze even more out of it in the future. The only bad thing is Mark has taken away some your glory by making these real fast times commonplace...lol.. Glad to see you have your Pbox and making good use of it in short order. Be good, Kevin

List has been updated. Congrats again, Jamie.

Also, thanks to KPG for continually verifying submitted times.

Nice time Jamie! What horsepower are you running? That thing is fast!

OhioGT2 Apr 19, 2007 10:42 AM

Thanks Kevin for quickly reviewing the data :)

Buddy, I was at 1.5bar, so assuming Todd's 700hp dyno run was accurate...that's what I was running. We're going to dyno the car again next week (with proper fan set-up this time) on a dynojet here in Cleveland that alot of folks use. So I'll post that graph when I get it.

I think with a better shift and my 18's mounted, I might be able to get that down to a 5.8. We'll see.

I threw the pbox in the wife's R500 and now my wife is addicted to trying to beat her best 7.1 0-60 time.....hilarious I told her to run on a low tank, get the kids and dog out of the car and she might be able to break into the 6's :D

Quote from Jamie on January 13, 2007:

"As for street racing scene around my area in Cleveland, this car won't hang with most of the crowd I hang out with, but at least it'll be one of the nicer cars in the lot"

Here we go again  You told me nothing Sean. I answered a simple question.....I do recommend this set-up for a bolt-on application over everything else I've seen for a 996/GT2 to date. As for being fast, it's all relative, what's fast for you isn't necessarily fast for me. A fast street car does this test well into the 4's.

And yes, this car still won't hang with the faster cars in my area. I don't hang out with a bling crowd with fancy watches :)

Kevin,

Can I borrow your driftbox? You won't mind if I return it a little late, will you?hilarious

Actually, I am going to use Nicks....now I need to find a Downhill stretch of highway with a tailwind. And miss Jamie: I am picking up my Panerai tomorrow.:p

Very nice run!!!

I hope you do beat it...then the haters can all come after youhilarious

Great car!

Thanks Joe. Yea, whatever I run, I'm not going to post it so I can take shots at you for being fastest :D

Jamie
Beef up your LSD like Joe's to beat his time.
It'll help put more power to the wheels by keeping your rear straight at full boost and improve traction.

Vincent,

Most of us that have run 10's aren't using LSD's at all. He should be fine with the stocker, bro.
