Of course he'll be fine w/o. But doing a little better than fine would not hurt.;)

And yes, this car still won't hang with the faster cars in my area. I don't hang out with a bling crowd with fancy watches :)

Jamie big congrats on the run, that is DAMN FAST!

Great time Jamie. I'm curious, do those bolt-on GT30s have K16 or K24 turbine housings?

BTW, when I did 60-130 runs (driftbox), to my surprise I had to get into 5th gear before I hit 130mph. Is this typical with stock size tires?

Damn that is weird, on my stock 18's with raised limiter at 7k i would end 4th at 140!!

Neither, these are regular old GT3076's that bolt-on with some fab work :) I hit 142 per the pbox in 4th, north of 7200. ;)

MArtin, Jamie is on 19s.... also, if u would run the P box u would be at 135 mph.... the speedo is off. I know I ran the P box many times....

I was mentioning that to roadsterdoc who asked why he hits 130 in 5th on 18's Mark ;)

BTW, i will be running Tom's box shortly, still freezing out and planting 2nd has my backend almost sideswiping curbs, bikers, civilians or other cars

Actually, I believe my 315*30*18's are .4 inches taller than my 315*25*19's (25.6 vs. 25.2).

My point is that P box is always 4 to 5 mph less. I was so poed becasue I thought I hit 130 in top of 3r and it was 129.2 on P box.

Yea I noticed that too...about 2-3 off up to about 80 then the variance increases from there.

Well, a raised rev limiter would add a few mph, and as others have said the stock speedo is off a bit. My speedo said 130 and the Vbox indicated I did not hit 130. Just wondering if everyone else with stock gearing and tire size have to shift to 5th. I would assume so since I do.

Here is what I don't understand: Ohio seemepoo runs a step behind Nick Diep's Supra when they line up. 2 days later Nick runs a 6.6 in competition at the Supra Nats. Admitedly there was a headwind..actually Nick was running 7flat and it seems the wind broke a bit when he ran his 6.6

How is Ohio seemepoos car breaking 6 seconds when Nicks car, which was a touch faster in head to head competition only running mid 6's?

For all the SME verification-rhetoric, something isn't adding up.

I reiterate that the true measure is how cars stack up when they face the same conditions.

Let me get this straight....you are comparing 2 different cars on two different days in 2 different states? Please... would you like to know the first run Markski ever did with his 144mph car was in the 7's....now he is knocking on a sub 5 sec run. Is there something wrong with his car?Does it not add up? My first ever time was high 8's but I got it down to high 7's...am I suspect as well? Given your history with OHio GT2, it seems like this is sour grapes....Kevin
