Guys,

Member Acicchelli ran a 5.22 in his TT Gallardo on race gas mode (875 rwhp) with 1-shift on a 2.21% decline.

Congrats, Aaron!

Very nice. Those TTG's are fast. I read about one trapping at 143mph!

Jerry traped 143 last friday(TT G),he just eased it out about two cars and stood on it.

On the run where he trapped 143.95 mph his E.T. was 11.053. (60' of 2.191) His best E.T was 10.799 @ 139.91 mph (60' of 1.925).

His car's power set up is exactly like mine. His is an 04, mine is an 06 and mine is egear and his is a 6 speed manual. His car is a bit lighter than mine for sure.

Thanks Scott. My 100-200 km/h on the same run was 4.57 seconds. I think a Veyron is around 4.8 seconds, I couldnt find any Veyron 60-130mph info.

This data comes at great expense...

Oh no! Sorry to hear about getting nailed Gene. :( Great time though. Were the children's car seats in back?

Bernard Vroom has run his TTG (SE I beleive) in the mid 10's on street tires, I want to say it was a 10.6 or even a 10.5. Regardless it's crazy fast considering they are running these on street tires. I would love to see them running on some Mickey Thompsons in a good track. The definately have the power to run some great #'s.

WOW, congrats on the GREAT NUMBER in the TT Gallardo. I'm assuming it's a manual gearbox????

Bernards best time so far is 10.709. His car does not have the race gas option, so his run was on pump gas. His 60' was 1.686 on that run, and his car has been converted from AWD to RWD. His car was the Verde Ithica 06 SE that was in the 0-200-0 Car and Driver Shootout.

Not sure if you were referring to my 60-130mph run, but if you were, thanks!

It is an egear (F1 type) transmission.

Your run of 4.51 sec is really hauling. Any idea what your car weighs?

That G was converted to RWD and still cut a 1.68 60'...which is much better than almost all of our P-cars do with AWD, regardless of tire type. He's definitely not lacking traction.

WOODTSTER Apr 8, 2008 03:44 PM

I would kill for a 1.68

Great job in the TTG!

(I am absolutely enthralled with those G cars!)

Does it seem reasonable that whp vs times look roughly like this:
whp 60-130 s
400 10
450 9
500 8
550 7.5
600 7
650 6.5
700 6
750 5.5
800 5
900 4.5

Divexxtreme Apr 9, 2008 09:50 AM

Gene,

I think with a car that weighs in the 3,400 to 3,700 lb range with driver...I'd say that's very reasonable. I wish we had some math wizards that would input 60-130 data and weight to come up with an accurate formula.
