Just purely out of curiousity, does anyone know the 60-130 times for some REALLY fast cars? Like top fuel dragsters , pro stock, and funny cars? Would just be interesting to know, not like it's anything to shoot for :)

Ok, I have an updated time for the list. Still on stock K16's.

Car ran like a dream today, and the track prep was good for once - best 60" of 1.77. The new Toyos had a lot to do with it too. Mixed day for me - pretty happy with the time, but unfortunately it's likely the last time I take her to the strip. :(

Congrats that's a fantastic time, I know you're on stock K16's what are your supplemental mods and software?

Thanks! Just really intake and exhaust mods, and boost. You can see the full list at the link in my sig. There are a few things left I could do, but I think the K16's are pretty maxed out.

Again, awesome results!

That is a great run on k-16s!! What was the weather like when you ran?

jimmer23 May 15, 2008 01:40 PM

Thanks guys! 80 and sunny w/ no wind. Perfect conditions. Finally learned to launch the car (and do AWD burnouts :D ), so my short times made up for my lost mid-range from running less boost than last year (17psi versus 22psi). Still trapping more or less the same, but my 1/8th mph is down 5mph (shows you just how maxed out the K16's are - even at higher boost terminal mph doesn't change).

Jimmer, do you have any 60-130 runs?

jimmer23 May 17, 2008 02:58 PM

Yeah, I've got an 8.16s 60-130 time but it was done on an AX22 a week after Scott decided not to use AX22 data anymore ;)

TXGold May 17, 2008 11:33 PM

8.16???:) That's fast!!! What was the temp? I had a 8.40 in 75F weather. And you are AWD also aren't you?!

GL Jimmer,

Wow, very impressive, both you and TXgold have very fast Stage 2's!

Yeah, it was cold in early March - probably 40 degrees. Not good for launching, but great for 60-130 times. Still AWD, yep.

With some colder air you should be right there too TX!

Did a few dbox runs in the ML63. Car is completely stock and temp was 73 degrees with 50% humidity.

Here are the results:

0-60mph 4.46 sec
0-100mph 11.11 sec

60-130mph 14.39 sec on 2.72% decline.
100-200kmh 11.95 sec

Not bad for a stock SUV. The 0-60, 0-100mph times are about identical with what Road and Track obtained.

Sent you the raw dbn file Scott for verfication.

That is very fast for an SUV!! I have not run my Cayenne TT with my PB but I think your MB is considerably faster.

Did you get an "unofficial" quarter mile time from you DB when you did the testing?
How many rpm did you launch her from? (I assume you stood on the brake and reved).
