Congrats on your times, they are very fast!!! Do you plan on trying MS109?

LarryP Jun 4, 2008 09:06 AM

jimmer23 what toyo's do you have on the r888

jimmer23 Jun 4, 2008 11:17 AM

Yep R888's.

Great time Adam!

Thanks guys!!

Todd @ Proto told me that ms103 is more stable than ms109, and that he preferred ms103 in my application. My local VP dealer also told me that ms109 would be hard on my cats, so for now I'll probably stick with ms103. There is only 2 octane points difference between the two (99 vs 101), so I don't think it would make a huge difference.

Adam your car has cats?

Adam Bowles Jun 5, 2008 06:13 AM

Yes, it does. It has 100 cell cats which come with the Europipe Stage 2 exhaust.

Does your Switzer exhaust have cats??

FYI Adam, they're 103 and 105 octane, respectively (R+M/2...Research Octane + Motor Octane / 2....which is how we measure octane level in the US). 99 and 101 are only the Motor Octane numbers.
