that C63 got mapped with other headers to 499 DIN-HP on the crank
|
I'm assuming in addition to the headers it had an ECU tune... I bet a stock C63 would run slightly slower or right at a stock E63.

comprehensive? ;)
it's a 2002 GT2 Clubsport with Roock 530/540 crank-HP "Kit", which includes 5bar regulator, K&N Filter, Exhaust+200 cells cat and a map tune that does 1.10-1.15 bar in mid revs (overboost?) and 1.0-1.05 bar in high revs. That tune was not customized to the engine/car and is usually used with the zero clearance specs / Race KKK's K24. I have 100% stock Wastegastes opening already at 0.2 bar, and stock Bosch diverter valves. There is a 996 short shifter, but no further mods. Of course I did many trys on the autobahn to get in the mid 7.5secs, but I am surprised it was a 2 shift run, which was not necessary, when I start in 3rd gear. It always gets 93-95 octane (US-Spec) Gas and the run was in a 12 degrees celsius night, high humidity, and 2% decline. This 2% is improviong a lot, but the rules are max. 3%! The car runs 100-300 kph in 27-28 secs. |

I think 3% is fair. |
