$86,500 for an '02 with 10k miles - that's pretty much below wholesale! Would have to check VIN and such, as it seems almost TOO cheap, but anyone looking for silver/metropol, this is one heck of a price.

well, whomever has a carfax subscription should run the VIN and see...it does sound too good to be true, but you never know. The seller has it on ebay also, with the following caveat: "Please note this vehicle was repurchased by the manufacturer as a good will vehicle buy back. The manufacturer corrected all problems and the full vehicle warranty is still in effect until May 2005.
"
"
Warranty end date implies the '02 was first sold May 2001 . I don't remember '02 Turbos available that early to retail buyers , which leads me to wonder if it didn't spend some of it's early life as a company " executive " car or worse , a magazine test car ?
I almost bought that car, it is a dealer buy back (Lemon Law), it had a fuel delivery problem and a defective ground somewhere under the dash.
The car has been fixed and is under full Porsche warranty, problem is the "Lemon Law" stays on the carfax, so it will be hard to resell in a few years, I stayed away from it, looks like a great lease deal.
