Porsche NAV and CD Changer
Porsche NAV and CD Changer
My NAV does not put me on the right road when I'm driving in residential areas and take turns.
Following the NAV would NEVER get me to my destination.
When I take a turn it has me going straight, when go straight it has me making turns.
It only works on a HW going straight.
Is the NAV that bad or is mine broken?
The CD Changer is not much better: 70% of my CDs either skip or don't play. Most of them are CD-Rs since the originals are in my house.
Same question: Is the Changer that bad or is mine broken?

I have the same problem sometimes with my nav....seems that it confuses certain addresses....make sure the Nav CD is in as relying on NAV memory seems to mess it up...Also, always try re-inputting the address from scratch...
The only problem I've had with the factory nav system is that some addresses in their database are incorrect... but I've never experienced the problems you are having. Perhaps it is because the database for Arizona (where i live) is more accurate?
