Anyways, not meant to start a flame war. If track conditions were bad than thats ok. Im not even interested in the Et, as i care about mph. I would expect this car to be running mid 130's. So even if everything was right, 10mph is alot to change.

Thats all and well, but tying a stock Viper in braking doesnt change my opinion. What does the car really run? You may have experience with the car and owner, and it may very well be an awesome car. But for someone like me, who just reads an article, seeing 200K spent, and an 11.40 in the 1/4 sounds very dissapointing.

Killer Angel is a real slug. She is constantly being schooled by all the real fast Vipers, Vette's, GT2's, Ferrari's and Lambo's.

If I recall correctly Killer Angel is the second motor that Chad has put in the car. It is not the motor that was in the car while it was being tested for the article. From what I remember the Killer Angel car has about 200 more hp than the motor tested in the article. I think that he is now over 1000hp.

Oh ok. I think some people are taking this the wrong way. Its not about the car being a Porsche. if it were a Lamborghini, and someone listed performance numbers a fewmph better, id say the same thing. I mod every car i own. For 200K, id have a car made exclusivily for me, from scratch. It cost 35,000 to have a 930 made into a Low 10 sec, 140mph daily driver, that i drove for years.

To allans defence I have seen some of his cars (sold him one)
we have some mutual friends aswell that have moded cars.
For about 40K his 964 would pull the front wheels off the ground,
and run in the low 9's on street tires. The car was a daily driver
and the engine was built once.
My moto Do it once and do it right.
just my $.02

allanlambo,
The cjv/ s car go "Killer Angel" is an all around performer balanced to perfection. She really is no longer geared for standing starts, however, few cars would have much of a chance from a five mph or above rolling start. She pulls as hard from 120 to 210 mph as most 996tt's pull from 0-120. Fewer street legal cars could stay even close in twisties or a track enviroment. The whole package is designed to survive speed endurance.
The current problem with Killer Angel is she has crossed the line of streetability. The comfort simply isn't there any longer for anything other than short jaunts. I will probably be detuning her a little all the way around so as to gain more streetability and comfort.

My experience with really fast Porsches is with 930 motors. My car, under full boost could pull 9's in the 1/4 lifting the front wheels off the ground, yet still be very streetable.
Either way, love the look of your car.

allanlambo,
Streetability from the power aspect isn't much of a problem with the exception of clutch engagement which grabs over a fairly short distance. She can't clear speed bumps, most driveways and she rides like a brick. The brakes squeal all the time and you can constantly hear the monoball suspension, single mass flywheel and the full floating hubs. The engine noise is fun at first, but wears on me over any distances. I streached the gears in first and second and shortened them in third, fourth, fifth and sixth. She will barely hit 60 mph @ 8100 rpm's in first and will be at 190 mph in less than eighteen seconds from a slight rolling start.
I love the car, but she has a limited application.
