What Extended Warranty Company should I use for my 2003 996TT?
Hi Gang,
I have a 2003 996TT that I've owned since new and in the middle of next year, my factory warranty will expire. I'm shopping around to find an extended warranty supplier, but my first stop at warranty direct (I've done business with them before and I really liked them) turned up a "I'm sorry but we don't offer an extended warranty for this vehicle".
Can anyone recommend an extended warranty supplier and perhaps provide a link?
Kind Regards,
Joe

I read up on this topic a lot when I was considering buying an older turbo.
I was going to go with easycare, It seems like a lot of ppl were happy with that service.
Here are some links I bookmarked, hope this helps.

I recommend easy care. You can get this at your porsche dealer. I paid something like $2800 at newport beach porsche for my 03 turbo for a 6yr/75000 mi warranty. From my research this was the best warranty. They require you to get an oil change and inspection which ran me around $500.

I have an easycare warranty as well. I have had great luck with it. I would purchase another easycare policy in a minute. I paid a little more than $2800 but it is great peace of mind. Good luck.

Thanks everyone... I'll go visit my dealer and get a quote on easycare. As far as wondering if it is necessary... let's just say that it won't take many repairs to make it well worth it for me. My 996tt is pretty much a daily driver and I may hit the 75k mileage; $2800 or so for the peace of mind is worth it to me.
Thanks again!

I went with easycare too. the peace of mind is very assuring to me. plus, Easycare works with the independent garage I go to. though I recently had a leaky radiator hose fixed which was not covered. The shop said I would of been better off with a broken radiator. Easycare, then would of covered the whole thing. oh well....
