Hey guys,

Spoke to Dan today at Vivid, a really cool, knowledgable guy!! Anyway, I am going to do the ECU flash with them and he brought up the issue that I should replace the diverter valves too, thus maximizing the new flash of the ECU. I am completely comfortable with Vivid and Dan's knowledge, so my question is.......has anyone else done this themselves, and if so, and info or pictures would be really helpful. I am a pretty handy guy, just a little leary about tinkering under the hood of my Porsche Turbo!

Just to clarify, the DVs don't increase performance just prevent you from dealing with a failure of the rather cheap stock DVs.

You know what they say about small hands Aye but it's an essential thing to do when running more boost.

 

get band aids ..... first then replace your dvs tight 1/4 ers

 

Are DV's recomended for the tt?

 

Everyone I spoke to recommend them. THe stock plastic ones leak.....supposidly.

 

is it easy to install? or do i have to that it to a shop?

 

Blew my stock DVs the first time I stomped on the gas after the ECU was flashed. Highly recommend replacing them.

Honestly - see if you can beg, borrow, or steal one of those tools. It will really save on your hands! They obviously install these things on an engine stand and then install the engine in the car. Because on mine the clamps faced forward and were a ***** to get loose!
