Spark Plugs? I've got issues...

Changed my watsegate actuators last week (see other thread) to the EVO upgraded ones (which I got from Sharky), and finally got them adjusted the "right way" yesterday. They are set to crack the wastegate at 12psi.

The problem is now that as the car starts to build up to peak boost, I get this "sput..sputter..sput..blah, sput, blah blah sputter..". If I back off the throttle a little it goes away, but if I lay back into it too quickly it comes back. Once I get 'er into the uppper RPM range (over 4500) it doesn't happen anymore, I can mash it and the car flat rips. Check engine light came on the first time it happened and went back off after flashing for a bit. Second time it came on and stayed.

The car is getting 1.1bar consistently, and I've seen 1.2 a few times.

Is this a spark plug thing, or an overboost thing? To the best of my knowledge it still has stock plugs and 24k on the odo.

Fwiw, it's a GT2 with REVO SPS3 tune, exhaust and Bailey DV's.

Stock plugs and 24k miles it's for sure the plugs. Get some Bosch FR6s and you'll be set.

So are the FR6's one step colder than stock? I've been told that's the way to go.

Plugs for sure, common symptom telling you they are shot ;) its night and day when you change them, goodluck!
