Q: Tequipment Roll Cage
Question: I've been offered to buy a used Tequipment roll cage taken from a 996 GT3 for $1200 including 4-pt harness. Good price? Will it mount directly into 996TT? Thanks fellow 6...
The TQ bar will fit, however, if you are over 6' tall and have stock or sport seats, you're not going to be very happy with the fore and aft range of travel. There simply isn't enough room. I had one installed and had it immediately removed (I am 6'-1"ish). Now if youre planning GT3 seats, I would seriously consider it, as long as your not over 6'-2"ish.

BTW...Martin, by the time I'm done modding - it'll probably be GT2 time for me and CGT for you.

that price is top retail dollar for a new bar. And are you sure "4 point" harness? Cause you need at least a 5 point system and I would recommend 6 point if you value your jewels!!

Tom-your track setup is superb. The TQ rollcage, harness, and GT3 seats are sold as a package deal(unseen by myself) at $3K. I would rather have a 5 or 6 pt harness indeed. What steering wheel would ou recommend?

Anyway, yea Toms setup is sick, my harnesses are tied up for track day use only, makes it alot easier for daily driving, safer on the street too some people say in case anything were to happen!
Check out FVD's steering wheels, RUF has a really nice one and Techart as well
