How low do you think prices will go on 996TT's?
So theoretically with the fact that the 996TT's are already getting pretty low, how low do you think high mileage tt's will get? Ones with for example 130k-140k miles on them.

I don't see a reason why people won't be begging someone to just come and get the piece of crap out of the driveway soon. I figure when I get ready to get rid of mine, I'll call someone and offer them $500 bucks just to haul it off.
So theres your answer. You should be able to make $500 bucks buying a 996TT. |
For a decent car with average mileage, I think the price will no longer drop and will stay par,IMHO. The prices have come down tremedously already... If it goes down more, all other models below the TT will also take the hit...
For a veryhigh mileaged TT's,that's a different story... :D |
Yeah I don't mean a pristine example of a 911tt, I mean something beat up et cetera, to be made into quite a fast race car... or in that case would it be better to get a salvaged car?

There is a high mileage 01 on ebay going off today with Buy It Now below $50,000. When I last looked with less than a day the bidding was just over $40,000. Seems too cheap.

Thats pretty cheap!

I saw an '01 on cars.com a while back with 80k or so on the clock for just under 50k.

I have discussed this topic with a friend of mine who is a used car dealer.
He sells about 20 used Porsche's a year. Unless the 996TT is really high miles, or major trashed. His opinion, and I agree they will stay above $50K. With no major wrecks, the car will part out for big $. |

Interior would just be recarpeted, etc. |
