Turbo Track Video's

Since quite a few seamed to like the track photo thread, maybe you would like some track videos.

Mine are hosted on Google but they hurt the quality quite a bit. Does anyone else know of a better hosting site?

I will have one at Road America in a bit, it's still uploading.

tim love the video the technology and your car......and I know you are an experienced driver but seems to me that you felt no need to heel toe down shift?? ever?? Your car has such a wide torque band guess its not necessary.
from what I could see, that car has ALOT more in it!!!!
Loved the video lets see some more!!

here is a VERY crappy vid of me at sebring and man I am driving like crap and this is an advanced run group so you can tell me I suck!!hilarious

Here is Road America.

In compressed google video:

I leave quite a bit on the table in select spots (this track has big teeth) but not too bad overall and it was my first time at the track at speed.

I wish I could show it in full HD. Google is really killing it.

Tom: I could probably grab a gear in a couple places as my gearing is not well set up for the track. I missed a gear selection in turn 2 (you can see me correct it). In the slower turns (7 especially where I slog it) if I grab second it's really hard to modulate the throttle as second just drops too much torque (PSM is off of course). I do heal and toe, into 1, & could for 7 if I could put the power down (if I was better I would). I want to get a limited slip badly. I double clutch downshift from my Lamborghini days. Having a problem viewing your vid I'm working on it.

Thanks Kiko.

I will have something to add to this thread soon.

Tom, you can't be serious. That was an advanced run group? What, under full course yellow? Warm down ... what? Seriously, blindingly slow. You have to have a better video than that.

Heavy, did you watch my RA video? I thought you might like it. ;)

Here is the newer High Resolution link.

If you call that terrible driving on your part then, I have to re-evaluate my driving because considering the people in front of you were driving like they had flat tires, it looked good to me.

What kind of tires are you running, it looked like you still had some understeer, are you still AWD? I am trying my best to eliminate understeer without undoing the AWD because until I have more seat time the AWD is safer for my aggressive driving style.

For a different perspective... try these from the dashboard of an Elise chasing me. Gives you the outside look :) Sorry for mediocre Google Video quality:

Last one has a couple minutes of me and some Loti... rolling on my 19" HREs with street tires this time (got lazy that day) :)

Heavy: I normally run Cups at 265/18 front 315/18 rears but this was in October and it was below freezing and the Cups were like driving on ice till you got them heated up but I could nver get them up to proper temps. I went with my street tires (PS2's) instead. So, the car was beautifully set-up for the cups, pushed a little - not a ton - (as you correctly noticed) with the smaller up front street tires. Also I am AWD and would love to go LSD to try to get the power down.

You will notice the three lights on the left side of my DAS are showing real time tire temps. My street tires never even got up to temps by the end of the session and I wasn't exactly Sunday driving.
