Anyone Regret Getting 19's ???

I was wondering if anyone got 19's and regretted the decision because of the ride comfort. I'm in Boston (roughest roads imaginable) so this is a serious concern.

At the same time 19's do look pretty sweet hilarious

I regret it. I bent the crap out of one and that wheel was finished. now I run 18's all the itme and couldn't be happier.

1) Was the fact that it was 19 the reason it got bent or would the same have happened if you had 18's on ?

2) Did it bend very easily or did it take alot ?

3) How as the ride comfort compared between 19's and 18's (same suspension) ?

19's are for bling factor. If you want a smooth ride, or plan on tracking the car with your new rims, I'd go with 18's. 19's are a little bumpier, and from what I understand, it is easier to get wheel/tire damage with a 19 because there isn't as much rubber there to give when you hit a road hazard.

I don't regret getting my 19's, but if I could have only one set of rims, I'd go 18 (I currently use both sets for street and track, respectively).

I'm same as wross

It can't be all that bad if 997 comes with 19's

19's are within specs...No regrets here.

I've got 19s, but the roads are relatively smooth here in the SF Bay Area. If they were any rougher, I might switch to 18s.

I use 19s on the street and 18s on the track. I drive to the track with the 18s and after getting use to the 19s you can really tell the difference between the two. FWIW-I also have the JIC suspension on a very very firm setting.

I love my 19 champion RG5's, can't tell the difference in ride quality. PSS 9 set at 2 in the back and 3 in front. I use 18s for track and hate looking at my car with 18s on.
