audio help: Anyone use a 3 way setup up front?

Anyone know exact sizes for bose speaker setup.
Also, for a 3 way component setup, up front, any brand/setup that people have used with success.
thanks.

You can't swap out the Bose speakers for aftermarket speakers unless you swap out pretty much everything else.

The Impedence for the Bose speakers is something very unusual, therefore regular car speakers won't work with the Bose Amp (which is designed to work specifically with the Bose speakers).

Also, a 3-Way speaker in general is not something an "audiophile" would be interested in.

kj23 im planning on swapping everything out.

why would you say a 3 way setup is not something an audiophile would like?

can you perhaps direct me to a good forum related to car audio..?

i used to have many 2 way component setups and cant see why a 3 way wont be good.

Hey, a 3-Way Component setup would be good. When you refer to "3-Way" one usually assumes it would be a coaxial setup which isn't ideal because all the sounds are coming from one area (instead of being positioned ideally).

Most people on here recommened:
