If discount is offered, hope it would apply to entire forum, heh heh. The silence is deafening!

fasteddiett has a spectacular aura aboutfasteddiett has a spectacular aura about
discounts????

Seems like if you were asking for a discount then you could have at least gone to the event (if you did please excuse me for my comments...) and participated .....

It seems like I see a lot of negative comments about vendors and its odd that we all expect the best , the quickest and most professional service but always want discounts....Has anyone ever offered to pay an extra 10% FOR GREAT SERVICE...???? At some point you have to wonder how these guys stay in business bending over to accommodate everyone’s “special†needs…?

Price guarantees??? hmmm.... I think Circuit City does that for 30 days...

Please note from my "location" noted at left that I am in New York City. I did not attend the event.

I always pay up for great service; however, the parts are somewhat of a commodity -- Others such as PES and Imagine, etc. have the same systems and I was looking for a differentiating factor vis a vis the others.

I would love to give them business, and if the margins are sufficient, they only have a profit to gain from me.

Would loved to have gone to event and participated, but was unable.

Yes, we all have at one time or another willingly paid an extra 10% FOR GREAT SERVICE. There’s no substitute for it. Low bidders or guaranteed prices can really suck when a problem arises followed by poor service. The discount suggestion was certainly not meant to criticize or hammer EVO or any vendor, but was to provide an incentive to others and myself to purchase items already being contemplated, i.e. PSS9s, chips, short shifters, etc., and have some change left over for even more mods. Good marketing and good for customers. We are very fortunate to have the quality of vendors available to us and they certainly deserve our support to the same extent that they support us.
