It's done......
We finally did it today on friday the 13th....
ran a 9.91 sec. at 145.64 mph. The axles held up but the clutch did not on that run. Second run it cut a 1.5 60ft but the clutch gave in at the light... Videos coming later on today. thanks to all for the support, markski http://www.djmarkski.com/porsche/tulsa/Timeslipweb.jpg |

Beautiful Mark! Way to go....

Congrats Mark, I am truly happy that you made official what most of us knew already. I hope most can appreciate the magnitude of this accomplishment. 9sec cars are not that rare, but a 9 sec Porsche that was driven to and from the track is in rare company. Also, congrats to Todd K for building a civilized 9sec car that is capable of Starbucks runs as well as drag runs...Whew, its over. Enjoy, very few will ever be able to say they have a 9sec car.:) ....Kevin
