0-300 km/h (0-186 mph) times for various cars
would like to see some more GPS time in the 200-300 kph range.
anyone?
e.g. this is very fast for a Z06 with Cams and Headers only.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bh7yyoD4Dg
60-130 times are less impressive.

VERY well. Anything under 30 seconds is damn impressive !
Cheers to the Autobahn (minus the slow motorcycle in the left lane)

for good 300 (and above) times all you need is power, power and power.
for 60-130 you need traction, good shifting, engine response, light weight and power.
my comment was in regards to that special Z06, it's 60-130 times were not so impressive like the very good 300 kph time.

I was also gonna say that where we live, a 60-130 time is more impressive and usable than a 120-180 run....
There I fixed it for you!!!!!!!!
the graph is below

I wonder what the fastest car that can be driven on the street is running 0-186? I know of a Buick Regal Grand National that Kenny Duttweiler built that was street legal at one point. It ran 7.2x's at 181-183 mph and still had more in it, there are drag cars running 6's of course but none that I know of that are street legal.
I wonder what some of the Can Am cars like the 917K ran 0-180?

the veyron did it in 19.8
917/30 can am porsche did it in 11.3
I wasn't trying to get the car on the list, just saying what is possible. And it really doesn't matter if its on pump gas or not...especially if we are talking about the fastest car on the planet aside from a Top Fuel car 0-186.
I think I found the 0-300 KPH Street Legal Car champion!

6.95 @ 210 mph I wish there was a way to extrapolate it into a 0-186 mph run. I am sure its deep in the low 6's to 186 mph.

With pump gas, power windows, DOT-approved tires and a slew of cup holders, Rod Saboury saunters up to the strip and lays down a brisk high-six quarter mile run at 210 MPH - making the nearly impossible look completely effortless.

I have no issue with posting any cars time, as long as it is explained what it has. I am sure any car at the top of the list will be running race gas.

Top Fuel dragsters hit 260 mph at the 1/8th mile mark in only 2.9 seconds...and are well over 300 mph at around 4 and 1/2 seconds at the 1/4 mile mark.
so then we are looking at low 2's
That's why I said aside from a top fuel car, and I was also talking about street legal cars.
I can't or never will be able to imagine 0-260 in 2.9 seconds....I don't think I have the cojones to even attempt something that fast!
The Corvette I posted would definitely work for my quote listed in my signature!

I'm not sure if you are counting modified cars, but the same car that won the last TX mile @ 246mph has done the quarter mile in 7.91@168mph (if I can read it correctly). His 0-186 time would probably be under 10 seconds.
