Ambient temp vs power

I am looking for data/information on the impact of ambient temperature on power output for a 996TT. Do these cars stand the kind of 80-90degF heat that is commonly encountered in track days without loosing tons of power ?
Would a flashed car loose less or more in the same circumstances ?

My curiosity was prompted after the test drive of a Lotus Elise 111R with a Bemani compressor. The shop owner was telling me that the Bemani compressor withstands heat way better than Exige S cars which commonly loose club races to NA cars (Elise/Exige) as they suffer tremendous power losses under warm conditions.

Subjectively, my x50 feels like it wears off as the day progresses and the temp gets warmer. Perception or reality ?
The guys who run drag races must feel the difference in consecutive runs ?

In the dyno, which is very different then the street...

We usually see a 15-20 whp drop on a stock turbo chipped car after 3 back to back pulls.
