I was doing inventory and just came across this returned B&B GT Exhaust system for the 996TT. The exhaust was installed on a customers car and then taken off same day because it was to loud. I have the same system, WTO very loud, or as my wife would say WHAT!

turn it up, seems louder than iPhone video, when you nail it in 2nd gear it sounds like straight pipes

I have read elsewhere on this forum and people are questioning the build quality and drone from this exhaust, do you think these are genuine issues??

 

Build quality is perfect, drone yes, it is a race exhaust.

 

in a cab with the top down not to bad, soft top on between 2200 - 2800 need to raise your voice a little, hard top on a little better? I keep mine around 2900 -3000 and its the quietest until you nail it and say hello to everybody because there looking, good sound though

Does the 100 cell cats cause the check engine light to keep coming on? The 100 cell cats probably won't pass California smog test?

 

I had mine for over a year with no check engine light ever. here are a few interior sound clips, one with the top down and one with hardtop on? hope it helps, the interior sound; no louder than others sound clips I have heard on this forum.
