I have a steering wheel with wood inserts between the spokes that looks thicker than the sport wheel. Would it be possible to leave the current padding and wood on and cover over the whole thing? It would basically be the same as stuffing it, right?

As long as the padding layer can be evenly covered, we can wrap it over!
Send us pictures so we can have better idea how to deal with it! worst case, we just make you another one and take your wheel as core return!

The thickness can be like this one on the very top portion
We will add padding over the whole circle area and the spokes will remain the same!
