I've thought about doing the same, glad someone is! If well designed I'm sure you'll do well.
Cheers,

I just drilled some small holes near where the mounting holes were and used small black zip ties to secure them to the car. Works well!

Not a bad idea, its probably better than using screws. Zip ties shouldn't have as much pressure as there is a bit of flex, so less likely to have new cracks on new holes.

I repaired mine with some fiberglass mat, same method as repairing fairings when you crash your bike on the track. Works wonders.
Wish I could take a picture for you, but I live in Tokyo now and the car is in the US in storage.
Cost me about 15$ and some patience. As strong as can be

I would suggest rubber orings at the bolt holes to eliminate metal to plastic vibration

they shouldn't fade with anodizing since the deckled covers the moon ting pints of the twilight completely. since this isn't a high visibility part just use the least expensive way to protect for long term. painting if thats it is fine with me. anodize tends to last the longest and i would think p/c would be the most expensive

you have a good idea going, don't complicate it to much.

Its nice to see he's concerned with quality/longevity, if a person had to paint then every few years it wouldn't be the end of the world. I like pc as it would blend in nice but anodizing would work.
